Meet some of our team.

We have a lot of people helping us get Line + Tow off the ground,
and the majority of them are women. We put this blog post together
so you could meet some of the amazing women that you are
supporting by choosing to shop with us.

Rachel and Averie are the founders of the ethical clothing brand Casa Flor that they head out of Antigua, Guatemala. These two act as our middle (wo)men between the US and Guatemala. They communicate with our seamstress and pattern grader, and make sure the clothing we order makes its way to the shipping company. We basically wouldn't exist without them.

Irma is not only our seamstress, but she also sews clothing for a handful of other small slow fashion companies. She cuts out all of the garments by hand and then she and her sisters sew each piece. She lives in Ciudad Vieja, Guatemala and is now able to sew full time thanks to the support of all of the customers like you who support ethical fashion.

Paige is one of our photographers. In addition to taking pictures she is also a brilliant writer. When she isn't taking pictures Paige is probably hiking, reading, traveling or exploring her new hometown of Roanoke, VA. Originally from Maine, Paige has also hiked half of the Appalachian Trail and is getting a masters degree in Education and plans to be a high school English teacher!

Ashley is another one of our photographers. She is from Long Island, NY and recently relocated to Roanoke, VA. Ashley worked for many years as an interior designer before shifting gears into food photography. She now writes recipes, cooks them, and photographs them for lots of different companies as well as running her own website Cuoco Contento.

Natalie is our graphic designer! She lives in Esparto, CA and works full time as an organic farmer. She recently started her own blog called The Moonstone Kitchen where she explores all of her interests: food, nutrition, womens health, sustainability, photography, and design! She is a huge inspiration to all of us!

Michaela is one of our clothing models. She lives in Roanoke, VA with her adorable pug Oscar. In addition to working full time at a local advertising and marketing agency she has an impeccable eye for style. We are constantly spotting her around town in amazing outfits.

Peyton is a another one of our clothing models. She has moved around a lot (including a year in Japan) and now lives in Roanoke, VA. She is a very talented barista and is constantly engineering new drinks at one of the local coffee shops in town. Most of the time though, you can find her creating really amazing works of art.

Grace is the founder of Line + Tow. She is extremely passionate about the environment and educating consumers about the fashion industry (and all the waste it creates). She creates all the patterns for our clothing and is slowly learning the beauty of delegation. Originally from Durham, NC she studied textiles at NC State before settling in Roanoke, VA.

Maggie basically runs everything here. She may not have been the founder, but this company wouldn't exist without her. Maggie has left her mark on every aspect of the company from design, to marketing, to modeling. All of her many talents have her leading a pretty busy life, but her true love is painting which she does professionally from her studio in downtown Roanoke, VA.

  • Hello,
I am wondering how large is your large size in the wonderful dress with the pockets. I wear a 1×. I want to wear this over a long sleeve shirt with leggings underneath. I am constantly trying to find tops long enough to cover my bottom when I wear leggings. This might be an inspiration for your product, also. Thank you,
    Susan
