So why is your shop basically empty?

Good question.

There are two reasons why our online shop leaves a little something to be desired right now:

1. As the name implies, "slow fashion" is actually really slow. We have a lot of irons on the fire that we are really excited about, however good things take time. We want to make sure the products we put in front of our customers are well made, and thoughtfully designed. We would rather wait a little longer to re-stock because we are taking our time to do it right. Why spend your hard earned money on something that isn't worth it? There are a lot of companies that fill gaps with cool trendy items but don't tell you (why would they) that the items are poor quality. That would be a waste of our time - and yours - and, actually a waste of time for all of the people involved in producing, marketing, and shipping the products. Why spend hard earned money on things that are destined for the landfill after a few uses? Waiting a little longer just seems like common sense to us. Stay with us though, we have some new pieces coming as well as some cool accessories and home items from other small makers.

2. Remember that pre-sale we did with The Garment? Yeah. That was FANTASTIC for us, and is most likely what brought most of you to us! Welcome! We really appreciate your business! We have been so humbled and honored by all of the support we have received from all of you. Unfortunately, all the sales were a little more than we were ready for and we are super back-stocked on everything! I guess you could call this growing pains - we're getting bigger and expanding our production methods to handle more orders! It's a really great thing, it just means that we don't really have anything to sell at the moment.

We want to thank you for your patience and for taking the time to stop by. If you would like to stay in touch with us you are encouraged to sign up for our email newsletter - we are too busy to send spam. Promise. Instagram is also a great way to stay up to date.
